These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Paturn (the "Service"), operated by Paturn from Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Paturn", "we", "us", or "our").

By using Paturn, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Paturn is

Paturn is a data and analytics tool that provides historical information about how economic events have affected various financial assets. We aggregate publicly available economic data and present statistical patterns drawn from historical events.

Paturn is not an investment advisor, broker, or financial planner. We don't provide investment advice, recommendations, or guidance about specific trades or financial decisions. The information we provide is educational and analytical in nature.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Paturn. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can legally enter into a binding contract.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Paturn only for lawful purposes. You won't:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to access the Service without our written permission
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize Paturn data without authorization
• Attempt to bypass technical limitations, paywalls, or rate limits
• Use the Service to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when interacting with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or other users' access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Subscriptions and payments

Paturn offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor.

Pricing: Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. We may change pricing for new subscriptions; existing subscribers will be notified before any change affects them.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll continue to have Pro access until then. Your subscription will not renew at the next billing cycle.

No refunds: Subscriptions are non-refundable. We don't issue partial refunds for unused subscription time. Because Paturn offers a free tier, you can fully evaluate the Service before subscribing.

Discretion: In exceptional circumstances (such as significant technical issues that prevented you from accessing the Service, or billing errors on our end), we may issue refunds at our sole discretion. Contact us at hello@paturn.trade to discuss.

Payment processor: Payments are processed by third-party providers. By subscribing, you also agree to their terms.

Data accuracy and disclaimers

We do our best to provide accurate, timely data. However:

• Data comes from third-party sources including Finnhub and the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED). We don't independently verify their accuracy.
• Historical data is just that — historical. Past patterns don't guarantee future results.
• Data may have delays, errors, or gaps. Markets and economic releases are dynamic; our data is a snapshot at the time of release.
• Surprise calculations and impact statistics are derived from formulas applied to source data. Different methodologies would produce different numbers.

Don't make trading or investment decisions based solely on Paturn data. Always verify information from primary sources and consult with qualified financial advisors as appropriate.

Not investment advice

Nothing on Paturn constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. Paturn doesn't recommend buying, selling, or holding any asset. Information is provided for educational and analytical purposes only.

You're solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make. Paturn is not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from your use of the data we provide.

If you need investment advice, consult a licensed financial advisor in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

Paturn and all related content, branding, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal purposes but may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of Paturn's content
• Use Paturn branding (name, logo, design elements) without permission
• Sell, license, or transfer your account to others

Source data (economic releases, asset prices) is provided by third parties and remains their property.

Service availability

We aim to keep Paturn running smoothly but make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control.

We're not liable for losses or inconvenience caused by Service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Paturn provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim related to Paturn is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• This limitation applies even if we've been advised of the possibility of damages

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Paturn harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach these Terms
• We're required to by law
• We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice and refund of any unused prepaid time)

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to delete your account.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers and posted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
